PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION
AND SUPPORTING SYSTEM
---------------------
We focus on "Outcome-Based Education" By Inspiring them to be active learners, building a Learning Culture, setting a Vision of Student Success, pushing highly efficient Learning Management, Learning Support, Learning Resources, and continuously assessing students' learning Outcomes
Guidelines for implementing any program of the Faculty of Education are as follows:-
1. Building a Learning Culture: Encouraging students to set life goals, create e-portfolios, continuously accumulate self-development achievements or coursework outcomes, and showcase outstanding work at the end of each semester fosters a learning culture and self-directed learning. Ultimately, this becomes a habit, shaping them into lifelong learners.
2. Setting of Vision of Student Success or Graduate Attributes: For all programs, the expected competencies or expected learning outcomes of graduates are clearly defined and mutually recognized by all stakeholders.
3. High-Efficiency Learning Management: The educational program starting from 2023 onwards focuses on developing curricula that emphasize expected learning outcomes. Every course must define course-level learning outcomes(CLOs) aligned with the program's expected learning outcomes(PLOs). It emphasizes the development of online classrooms for supporting traditional classroom instruction. Prioritizing the preparation of online classrooms before or at the start of the semester ensures students have accessible learning resources anytime, anywhere. Additionally, emphasizing hands-on practice or the application of theories in real educational settings—known as theory-practice integration—constitutes authentic contextual learning. This approach ensures a genuine, practical understanding, which will be beneficial for future applications. Learning Management emphasizes active learning activities that encourage learners to study, research, and construct knowledge independently, guided by the concept of "Teach Less, Learn More."
4. Learning Resources and Learning Support: Facilities and resources are provided to assist students, such as libraries, teaching demonstration rooms, computer centers, science laboratories, internet systems, etc. At the same time, communication channels are developed, including seminar rooms, online learning exchange platforms, blogs, and discussion forums.
-
There is a progress tracking system to identify at-risk students whose grades or GPAs fall below graduation standards, allowing for close mentoring, guidance, and support, especially in their first years.
-
For students undergoing professional training in educational institutions, they are assigned to training programs and receive orientation alongside mentor teachers to ensure quality training. Upon their return, seminars are organized where they present the knowledge and experiences gained, fostering peer learning and exchange.
-
Student Requests and Suggestions: Students can submit requests, appeals, or suggestions on any issue to their academic program or faculty via the online system at any time.
-
Online Seminar and Knowledge Exchange: Online seminar rooms are provided for both undergraduate and graduate levels to facilitate learning and discussion.
-
Thesis Support: A dedicated forum is available to enhance knowledge and encourage academic exchange for thesis writing.
-
Academic Services: The academic support system emphasizes student participation, integrating academic services with student learning.
5. Learning Assessment: Via testing at the course level, and E-Portfolio Assessment.
-----------------------
Note: Portfolio Assessment is an Innovation of every program; Student E-Portfolio shows the progression of each student year by year, until they graduate.
